ABOUT LESANA
Veronika is known under the name of Lesana and this name has become part of her work and business. She passed through half the world from her native country Slovakia and currently lives in Sydney, Australia, where new stories began to form her life.
People in Slovakia know her work from the musical project Fíha Tralala, the theatre group Kaprálikovci and others.
ILLUSTRATIONS
Lesana loves to create art for children. A few years ago, she began to illustrate books and also animated films. She loves working with a variety of paints, crayons, papers and combines old techniques with new digital technologies. Her illustrations have been published in several books internationally. Most recently you can see her illustrations in the book, 'Where is Who?'.
PUPPETS & COSTUMES
Lesana focuses on the creation of puppets, props and costumes for theatre. She has worked with the New Stage Theatre in Bratislava on the theatre play 'The Wolf and the Three Young Goats' by the Kaprálik family, and with other puppet theatres in Slovakia. She had been intensively working on the children's project Fíha Tralala for many years.
